Description: This course will introduce you to the legal and ethical issues that occur specific to working in the medical field. You will learn the concepts of standard of care, scope of employment, criminal and civil acts, contracts, negligence, health care ethics, and more.

Learning Outcomes:
1. Recognize the complexity of the government influence on the practice and licensing of medicine.
2. Identify the difference between medical malpractice and other lawsuits.
3. Distinguish between law, morals, ethics, and etiquette.
